LOCATION: South Cimarron Ranch is located north of US Hwy 60 approximately twenty five miles east of Springerville, Arizona and twenty three miles west of Quemado, New Mexico in Catron County.  Big Game Unit 12.

LIVESTOCK:  The Cimarron Mesa Allotment is rated for 106 mother cows year around.

WATER: The ranch is exceptionally watered with four productive wells.  Seven miles of pipeline feed six strategically positioned livestock drinkers and three dirt tanks supplemented by catching runoff throughout the rainy season.

VEGETATION: Grasses include Gramma varieties, Sacaton, and Blue Stem.  Browses are Chamiza, and Winter Fat with some oak brush in some of the canyons.

TERRAIN: The terrain on the ranch is grassy and rolling in the southern portion, to tree covered hills around the base of Cimarron Mesa which dominates the northern portion and has gentle rolling tree covered terrain on the top.  The lower country is excellent grass country and heavily productive throughout the summer months and the hills and mesas provide excellent winter cover for cattle and impressive habitat for elk.

WILDLIFE:  Elk and Pronghorn Antelope are the predominate big game species found on the ranch.  The ranch receives two landowner elk tags (1 mature bull and 1 cow) each year, along with two antelope tags every other year.

IMPROVEMENTS:  Located on the west side of the ranch at the Headquarters is a three bedroom, two bath single wide mobile and a small guest cabin.  The livestock shipping facilities are also located at the headquarters.  Additionally, there is a second set of working pens on the eastern side of the ranch.  All of the improvements are easily accessed via county maintained roads off of Hwy 60.

COMMENTS: The most impressive attribute on this ranch is, without a doubt, the grass!  This ranch sports some of the best grass turf I've seen in western New Mexico with no evidence of overgrazing or lingering damage from the recent drought.  Noxious weeds have been non-existent each time I've been to the ranch and invasive species such as rabbit brush and broom weed is extremely minimal.  In addition to the livestock potential on the ranch, the elk hunting is surprisingly great along the top of Cimarron Mesa.

AGREAGE:  307+/- Deeded and approximately 6,000+/- acres of BLM Grazing Allotment

PRICE:  $1,350,000.00
